KRISTA DALCOURT, CPA
Krista’s love for numbers started early—by 14, she was already filing tax returns (thanks, Dad!) and handling bookkeeping for her mom’s poodle grooming business. Her entrepreneurial spirit led to launching her first business selling dog collar scrunchies at the local Crafter’s Market, proving she could make numbers—and fashion—work in perfect harmony.
By 21, Krista had earned an Accounting and Finance diploma from Seneca College (with a Dean’s List nod) and launched her career at Ernst & Young. She honed her skills as a cost accountant for McGraw Hill Ryerson and Umbra Ltd. before starting her own business in 2008—because balancing ledgers and raising two kids wasn’t enough.
Determined to keep learning, she earned a Bachelor of Administration Honours Degree from Laurentian University and, in 2019, made her CPA dream a reality. Always committed to growth, Krista keeps sharpening her skills through ongoing professional development.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Krista is balancing life with her husband Pierre, their four active kids, and two dogs. In her limited spare time, she’s devouring fantasy books, creating breathtaking craft projects, or keeping busy within the dance world –sometimes all at once!
CATHERINE BARRIE, CPA, MBA, TEP
Master of Numbers & Peace of Mind
Her journey has taken her through public accounting, manufacturing, and leadership roles as a Cost Analyst and Controller. This diverse experience means she’s just as comfortable navigating complex corporate finances as she is explaining tax strategies in plain language. Numbers don’t intimidate her—but she knows they can be overwhelming for others. That’s why she brings clarity, strategy, and a personal touch to every financial situation.
A proud local, Catherine takes pride in supporting businesses and individuals in her community. She believes accounting shouldn’t be a mystery and works to make sure her clients feel confident about their financial future. When she’s not working magic with spreadsheets, she’s sharing her expertise, giving back locally, or enjoying time with family.
ELIZABETH MCGROUTHER
Number Whisperer
Elizabeth joined our team in October 2024, bringing her expertise in bookkeeping and a keen eye for detail. A graduate of Georgian College with a Business Administration (Accounting) Diploma, she keeps our numbers in check with skill and precision.
Outside of work, Elizabeth loves staying active—whether it’s hiking, playing pickleball, or taking the office pets for a stroll. When she’s ready to unwind, you’ll find her lost in a Jeffrey Archer or Ian Rankin novel. Whether crunching numbers or conquering trails, Elizabeth brings dedication and enthusiasm to everything she does!
RENEE BROWN
Keeper of Spreadsheets
Renee first joined our team in 2015 as the friendly face at reception, but quickly stepped into her role as accounting technician. With a background in the service industry and a natural talent for keeping things running smoothly, she’s a pro at balancing numbers, schedules, and the occasional office chaos.
An eternal scholar, Renee is always expanding her skills through ongoing professional development. Outside of work, she’s busy cheering on her kids and grandkids, dabbling in painting, and supporting causes close to her heart. If you need someone who can juggle it all with a smile, Renee’s got you covered!
LISA FAITHFULL
Balance Keeper
Lisa understands that strong finances are the foundation of any successful business. With a diploma in Accounting and a sharp eye for detail, she helps clients stay organized, compliant, and profitable. From managing the books to untangling financial complexities, Lisa ensures everything adds up—so you can focus on expanding your business with ease.
Beyond the numbers, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, or exploring the great outdoors. Whether she’s analyzing the figures or embracing nature, she brings dedication, precision, and a passion for problem-solving to everything she does.
CYNTHIA STEUBE-CHAPMAN
Chief Chaos Coordinator
Cynthia joined our team during the whirlwind of tax season in 2024 and quickly became an essential part of our day-to-day operations. With a natural talent for organization, a keen eye for detail, and a can-do attitude, she keeps everything running smoothly. Whether managing office logistics or ensuring deadlines are met, she’s the glue that holds it all together.
Outside of work, Cynthia loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and their lovable pup, Maui. Whether she’s tackling tax season, planning family adventures, or fine-tuning office spaces, Cynthia brings energy, heart,
and a touch of magic to everything she does.
STEPHANIE MURPHY
Tax Time Troubleshooter
Stephanie has been making tax season a little less stressful since 2013. After graduating from Georgian College in 2014 with a Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting, she didn’t stop there—she powered through her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Laurentian University, graduating with Honours in 2016. Now, with her CPA designation nearly in hand, she’s the go-to for clients looking to keep their finances in check.
When she’s not deep in spreadsheets, Stephanie is all about creating memories with her family—whether that means exploring new places, enjoying the little moments, or simply embracing the chaos of life outside the office.
EVAN ROSS
Detail-Oriented Dynamo
Evan traded years of service industry management for the world of bookkeeping in 2020, bringing his sharp eye for detail and knack for organization with him. A proud Business Accounting graduate since 2014, he thrives on keeping clients’ finances in check, ensuring everything stays balanced.
When he’s not crunching numbers, Evan is deep in the world of video games, comics, and pop culture. Whether he’s rolling dice in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, cheering on the Blue Jays, or off on a new adventure with his wife, he always brings the same enthusiasm and strategy that make him a bookkeeping pro.

Guardian of the Books
Louise has been keeping our books in perfect order since 2022, and she genuinely enjoys turning messy numbers into tidy, organized files. With a solid background in bookkeeping and management, she brings both expertise and a constant drive to learn and grow.
Outside the office, Louise is all about adventure—whether it’s camping, road-tripping with her family, or embracing her playful side. A big kid at heart, she loves crafts, Pokémon, unicorns, and all things fun. If there’s a chance to be silly, Louise is all in!
POLINA VASILEVA
The Countess of Cashflow
Polina is all about the details—whether it’s balancing books or carving the perfect turn on a snowboard. With a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Laurentian University and a strong background in banking and financial management, she brings precision and an analytical mindset to it all!
When she’s not making numbers behave, you’ll find Polina embracing the great outdoors. She loves snowboarding, hiking, and letting her creativity flow through painting. Whether she’s navigating a spreadsheet or a mountain trail, Polina brings focus and energy—always ready for her next adventure!

As the most vocal member of the DoG team, Ellie is a pint-sized Shi-Poo that thrives on attention, belly rubs, and has never met a treat she didn’t love. When she’s not perfecting her nap game, she’s on squirrel patrol or trotting happily—rain, snow, or shine!

Small but mighty, Samson is our resident spokesperson—if you’re here, everyone will know about it! This 10-year-old miniature long-haired Dachshund loves to play, cuddle, and ensure no visitor goes unnoticed. Quiet is not in his vocabulary, but cuteness? He’s got that covered.

Reggie takes all of his office duties seriously—especially greeting visitors and sniffing out treats! When he’s not keeping watch from his favourite window spot, this lovable Boxer is soaking up client attention, napping like a champ, or making sure no snack goes uneaten.
